How do I lift a Ford Ranger with a 2-post lift safely and correctly?
Special features of the vehicle: The Ford Ranger in our video is a pick-up with a running board.
Recommendation: For a safe lifting process you need 2 round height adapters, 2 U-shaped adapters for the rear carrying arms and lashing straps.
1. Fix and secure the round adapters on the front carrying arms and the U-shaped adapters on the rear carrying arms.
2. For optimum door clearance and ideal weight distribution, drive the vehicle exactly in the middle.
3. Place the carrying arms. Secure the rear carrying arms to the vehicle with lashing straps. Make sure that nothing has shifted during lashing.
4. Turn the front pickup pads as close as possible to the mounting points.
5 Lift the vehicle briefly. Now check the position of the support arms and whether the support arm locking devices are correctly engaged. Correct if necessary.
6 Lift the vehicle to the desired height.
